RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Provide maintenance, teardowns, and rebuilds of pump trucks and trailers, and all related support equipment.
*Works safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
*Understanding of fluid pumps and associated oilfield service equipment.
*Troubleshoots and performs repairs on equipment in the shop.
*Repairs and troubleshoots engines such as Cummins, Detroit, and CAT.
*Repair and/or replace large components of the fluid pump.
*Perform full preventive maintenance according to the equipment schedule.
*Knowledge and experience utilizing diagnostic software such as CAT, Cummins, and MTU.
*Perform basic mechanic duties (i.e., filter changes, diagnostics, repairs, etc.).
*Install and/or replace new or reconditioned repair parts and create work orders for all discovery work and performed repairs.
*Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities (i.e., order parts using Power Apps, generate QC daily reports, etc.).
*Documentation of all maintenance performed, along with proper distribution of paperwork.
*Expedites the procurement of tools, parts, and equipment as required.
*Troubleshoot and repair engines, after-treatment systems, fuel systems, HVAC, brakes, lights, 12V systems, and airbrake systems.
*Perform after-repair inspections on equipment.
*Perform valve lash and engine brake adjustments.
*Utilize diagnostic tools and software to test engine performance and fuel systems.
*Diagnose power end issues and failures.
*Remove and replace injectors and injection sleeves.
*Install inspection covers with new gaskets.
*Remove and replace after-treatment systems (i.e., one box system, DPF filters, etc.).
*Utilize and interpret wiring diagrams to diagnose and repair all electrical systems.
*Perform basic wear and tear checks on equipment.
*Ensure equipment is cleaned and lubricated.
*Maintains a safe work area by following the Company’s Standard Operating Procedures.
*Other duties as assigned when needed or required.
SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION, AND BENEFITS:
*14/7 Rotation.
*Hours: 10-16 per day.
*Time and a half after 40 hours.
*Hourly compensation is DOE.
*$2,000 +/- weekly.
