Guest Attendant
Housekeeper

Guest Attendant:

This is a highly visible, part-time customer service role. More often than not, you will be the face of the property and the first point of contact for our guests. Responsible for office operations in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, you will successfully assure front office operations exceed standards.

Compensation: Hourly, dependent on experience.
Essential Functions:
• Part time schedule 25-27 hours per week (days vary by location and staffing need).
• Oversee the daily operations of the property in the absence of the Managers, including; reservations, renewals, check-outs, and check-ins.
• Review and approve transmittals and other front office paperwork and reports.
• Ensure team member attitude of attentiveness and anticipation of guest needs.
• Give tours to potential guests and be able to ask for and close the sale.
• Ensure proper delivery of guest's special requests (i.e. linen request for sofa sleeper).
• Inspect studios for cleanliness and proper preventative maintenance.
• Ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
• Respond to requests from immediate supervisor and follow up with immediate supervisor.
• Assist the Property Attendant in housekeeping with the day's needs.
• Wash, dry and fold laundry as needed.
• Administration of keys.
• Know property emergency procedures.
• Manage inventory and assist with budget control.
• Ensure proper uniform standards are followed throughout departments.
• Familiarize yourself with area attractions and services to accommodate guest's needs.
• Suggest/Sell services and amenities to accommodate guest's needs.
• Review studio inventory and work within guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining accounts.
• Make outgoing marketing calls and other various marketing activities as requested.
Qualifications:
• One-year experience in customer service; hotel operations preferred
• Knowledge of lodging point of sale systems
• Excellent communication skills needed to make outbound telephone sales call
• Bi-lingual preferred; must speak English
• Excellent oral, organization and written communication skills
• Have reliable transportation
• Self-starter able to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
• Strong organizational time management skills and problem solving skills
• Proactive and aggressive in solving problems
Physical:
• Repetitive stair-climbing
• Kneeling and/or squatting
• Climbing ladders
• Lifting 20 lbs over head
• Pushing and pulling 20 lbs
• Standing for prolonged periods

Housekeeper:

This is the perfect opportunity for a dedicated hospitality professional to coordinate the CLEAN & SAFE programs. You will live on property and assure operations are according to standards. Our most successful Property Attendants take pride in and enjoy the variety of tasks required to exceed standards and keep guests happy. Typical daily responsibilities will include cleaning studio checkouts and stayovers, as well as public areas, landscape maintenance and general preventative maintenance.
Compensation: This is an hourly position that includes company provided studio. Property housing includes local phone service, internet, and all utilities paid.
• Essential Functions: This is a full-time position.
• The work schedule is 5 ½ days per week. Property Attendants. Typically hours are 7:00 am until 4:00 pm Monday through Friday (dependent on location requirements) and 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Saturday.
• Maintenance Duties: shampooing carpets, light electrical work (changing an outlet or wall switch), light plumbing (plunging toilets, snaking toilets, unclogging sinks, etc), studio preventive maintenance programs, preventive pesticide treatments, janitorial work, parking lot upkeep, drywall repair, painting and caulking.
• Laundry Duties: washing, drying and folding of company linen.
• Maintaining the property and guest laundry facilities.
• Housekeeping Duties: check-out preps and cleans when guests exit their rooms.
• Implementation of the CLEAN & SAFE programs.
• In the event of staff shortage, the Property Attendant will perform stay-over cleans.
• On-call for guest services, emergency needs; a backup to Safety Attendant, Assistant General Manager and/or General Manager when these employees are absent.
• Give tours to potential guests - Must be able to close the sale.
• Check in after hour's guests with or without reservations.
• Conduct a PMS system audit
• Ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
• Respond to requests from immediate supervisor and follow-up.
• Wash, dry and fold laundry as directed by management.
• Administration of keys.
• Responsible for knowing property emergency procedures
• Familiarize yourself with area attractions and services to accommodate guest's needs.
• Suggest/Sell services and amenities in order to accommodate guest's needs.
